SPACE AGE (SSU-SL-2000-N) Duct Smoke Detector, Ionization, Universal Voltage
The Space Age SSU-SL-2000-N is an ionization duct smoke detector for HVAC systems. First, it samples air moving through supply and return ducts. As a result, it provides early smoke detection in air-handling systems.
Space Age SSU-SL-2000-N features
This is a conventional, 4-wire detector with a universal-voltage design. Specifically, it operates on 230VAC, 115VAC, 24VAC, or 24VDC. In addition, Low-Flow Technology rates it for air velocities of 100 to 4000 ft/min. Therefore, it fits a wide range of duct conditions.
The detector includes four sets of Form “C” alarm contacts. Furthermore, up to 30 units can interconnect for common functions. Green pilot and red alarm indicators also show status at a glance.
Testing and maintenance
Servicing is designed to be quick. Specifically, the sampling and exhaust tubes load and remove without tools. In addition, test port valves allow aerosol smoke testing with the cover in place. A magnet test feature is also included. As a result, routine checks stay simple. The unit is cULus (UL 268A) and CSFM listed.
