The System Sensor SPSCRL-BP10 is a bulk pack of ten red L-Series ceiling speaker strobes. First, each unit pairs evacuation audio with a synchronized strobe. Specifically, the bulk pack supports large fire alarm projects. As a result, crews stock ten appliances in a single order.
System Sensor SPSCRL-BP10 features
Each L-Series device uses a dual-voltage transformer speaker. Therefore, it operates at either 25 or 70.7 Vrms. In addition, a rotary switch sets the power tap from 1/4 to 2 watts. The speaker frequency range spans 400 to 4,000 Hz. Also, the strobe flashes once per second.
The strobe offers field-selectable candela of 15, 30, 75, 95, 115, 150, and 177. Furthermore, the speaker is listed to UL 1480 and the strobe to UL 1971. However, current draw varies with the candela you select.
Installation and specifications
First, the plug-in design and protective cover reduce ground faults. Then a universal mounting plate lets you pre-wire and confirm continuity. Finally, each unit hinges into place without an extension ring. As a result, installation moves quickly.
Each red unit measures 6.8 inches in diameter and 2.8 inches deep. In addition, it mounts to a 4 x 4 x 2-1/8 inch back box. The operating range spans 32F to 120F at up to 93% humidity.
