The STI STI-6402 is the Exit Stopper Multifunction Door Alarm for double doors, with the same red housing and white "Stop / Alarm Will Sound" graphics as the single-door model. First, the unit mounts beside the door pair. Then a double reed switch monitors both leaves. As a result, the STI-6402 catches unauthorized openings on either door.

Double-leaf rear exits and stockroom doors are common loss-prevention targets. However, single-door alarms only watch one leaf. Therefore, the STI-6402 includes a double reed switch assembly so either leaf triggers the alarm.

Application context
The STI-6402 is a stand-alone device and is not a UL-listed fire alarm signal. Therefore, do not substitute it for code-required notification appliances. In addition, the housing is indoor-only and should not be exposed to water.
