The System Sensor SPR is a red, wall-mount fire alarm speaker. It delivers voice messages and tones during an emergency. This model is a speaker only and does not include a strobe.
The SPR belongs to the SpectrAlert Advance line. Furthermore, a rotary switch sets the voltage and power in the field. As a result, installers can fine-tune output without swapping parts.
System Sensor SPR Speaker Features
First, the speaker operates at 25 or 70.7 Vrms. Then, you select 1/4, 1/2, 1, or 2 watts on the same switch. In addition, the unit reproduces both voice and tone signals clearly.
The SPR covers a frequency range of 400 to 4000 Hz. Also, it operates from 32°F to 120°F. The speaker is listed to UL 1480 and approved for fire protective service.
Mounting and Compatibility
The SPR mounts to a 4 x 4 x 2-1/8 inch back box. Therefore, it fits standard SpectrAlert Advance mounting plates. Use it on compatible fire alarm panels that drive speaker circuits.
