The Viking (25676) is a 3/4-inch CPVC pipe for aspirating smoke detection sampling networks. Viking Plastics makes it from Schedule 40 CPVC. Installers use it to build the air-sampling pipe network. As a result, the detector draws air from across a protected space.

Aspirating systems pull air through a pipe network to a central detector. First, the pipe runs above the protected area. Then drilled sampling holes draw in air at set points. Therefore, pipe quality affects airflow and detection performance.
Compatibility and listings
This CPVC pipe works with leading ASD brands, including VESDA. Also, Viking supplies it UL Listed for aspirating smoke detection use. In addition, the pipe is prelabeled to support NFPA 72 identification. The nominal size is 3/4 inch.
