The Simplex 4100-1274 is a microphone multiplex module for 4100ES and 4100U audio systems.
It expands the number of remote microphones a panel can support. Specifically, each module converts one microphone input into support for up to 8 remote microphones. By default, a standard 4100ES or 4100U audio system handles only 5 remote microphones. As a result, the 4100-1274 significantly increases remote microphone capacity.
Simplex 4100-1274 compatibility
The module works with the 4003-9803 remote microphone. That microphone includes an on/off switch and a ready-to-talk LED. Therefore, staff can make live voice announcements from added remote locations.
