The System Sensor 5623 is a dual-circuit mechanical heat detector. It uses a fixed-temperature element rated at 135°F (57°C). Unlike combination models, it responds to fixed temperature only.
This spot-type detector fits standard commercial spaces. Specifically, the 135°F set point suits areas with stable, moderate temperatures. As a result, it delivers dependable heat detection without rate-of-rise sensing.
System Sensor 5623 Fixed-Temperature Operation
The 5623 trips when ambient temperature reaches 135°F. Therefore, it works well where slow temperature swings are normal. In addition, the mechanical design draws no standby power.
The dual-circuit build provides two independent circuits. As a result, one circuit can initiate alarm while the other handles an auxiliary function. Also, heat detection suits dusty or dirty areas where smoke detectors nuisance-trip.
