The System Sensor 5251H is a 200 Series intelligent (addressable) high-temperature heat detector. First, it alarms at a fixed 190°F threshold using a fast thermistor sensing circuit. Therefore, it protects spaces where normal-temperature detectors would nuisance-alarm.
As an addressable device, the 5251H reports its own point address to the panel. As a result, operators can pinpoint the exact detector in alarm. In addition, two LEDs give 360-degree visibility and can latch on by panel command.

The detector operates on 15 to 32 VDC. Also, peak standby current is about 300 µA at 24 VDC. Furthermore, it fits standard 200 Series bases such as the B210LP and B501.
