The Macurco CM-E1-RS is a round, surface-mount carbon monoxide detector. Specifically, it mounts directly to wall or ceiling using the rear housing. Therefore, no in-wall box is required for installation.
First, the CM-E1-RS suits residential, multi-family, and commercial office environments. Then, it interfaces with fire alarm or burglary control panels through dry-contact relays. In addition, an integrated buzzer provides local CO alarm at 85 dBA.

Installation notes
First, mount the rear housing at the manufacturer-specified height for CO detection. Then, land 9–32 VDC power and the alarm / trouble dry contacts. Finally, confirm panel supervision and bench-test with a Macurco CM-FCK calibration kit.
Furthermore, the CM-E1-RS is the surface-mount variant of the CM-E1 family. Alternatively, the CM-E1-RF is the flush-mount round option, and the CM-E1 is the rectangular base unit.
