The Hochiki DIMM is a dual input monitor module for Hochiki addressable fire alarm systems. It monitors two independent dry-contact circuits while using only one SLC address.
First, the DIMM sits on the SLC loop and uses one device address. Then it watches two separate Class B contact circuits in parallel. As a result, an installer can monitor two devices — fire alarm or supervisory — from a single module slot.
Hochiki DIMM Capacity and Programming
Each module can be programmed to monitor Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) contacts. In addition, each input handles either fire alarm or supervisory devices. Furthermore, up to 127 devices can sit on a single Hochiki SLC loop.

Mounting
The DIMM mounts in a standard 4″ square electrical box or a double-gang box. Therefore it drops into existing wall and ceiling installations without special hardware.
