The Farenhyt IDP-RELAY-6 is an addressable six-relay module for Farenhyt Series fire alarm control panels. It lets the FACP switch six independent Form C dry contacts from a single SLC address.
First, each output is a Form C (SPDT) relay. Then, the FACP commands the contacts open or closed through software control points. As a result, one module replaces six conventional auxiliary control relays.
Typical Applications
Specifically, fire alarm designers use the IDP-RELAY-6 for HVAC shutdown, elevator recall, door release, and auxiliary notification. In addition, unused relays on the module can be disabled in programming. Therefore, partial deployments don’t generate false trouble or supervision events.
