The Gamewell MCS-COF3 is a plug-in addressable multi-criteria fire/CO detector. It combines four separate sensing elements in one head: smoke (photoelectric), carbon monoxide, light/flame (infrared), and heat. First, sophisticated algorithms weigh the inputs together. Then the head reports a single intelligent decision to the panel. As a result, the MCS-COF3 delivers higher real-fire sensitivity with stronger immunity to nuisance particulate than any single-sensing detector.
Designed for the E3 and S3 Series
The MCS-COF3 is built to connect to Gamewell-FCI E3 Series and S3 Series fire alarm control panels only. It operates on the Velociti® communication protocol. Furthermore, each detector uses only one address on the SLC, despite carrying four sensors and a separate CO life-safety signal.

Sounder Base Operation
The recommended B200S series intelligent sounder base produces a Temp 3 pattern for fire and a Temp 4 pattern for CO alarm. In addition, the base recognizes the System Sensor synchronization protocol. Therefore, you can mix it into the general evacuation signal with other System Sensor horns, horn-strobes, and chimes.
