The Hochiki YBN-NSA-47 is a 4-inch analog sensor base for Hochiki addressable detection systems. Specifically, it is the standard mounting base for the Hochiki NS series of analog addressable sensors. The “47” in the part number denotes the bone (off-white) color. As a result, the YBN-NSA-47 blends with most ceiling finishes.

Compatible Sensors
The YBN-NSA-47 base accepts all Hochiki NS analog addressable sensors. Specifically, it supports ALO-V, ACA-V, ACD-V, ACC-V, ATJ-EA, ATG-EA, ALN-V, ALK-D, ALK-V, ALG-V, and AIE-EA. Therefore, the installer can mix detector types on the same base footprint without changing the mounting hardware.
For installations requiring a larger 6-inch base profile, instead use the HSB-NSA-67. The HSB-NSA-67 is the 6″ sibling in the same product line.
Tamper Protection
The base includes a security locking tab. Specifically, the tab prevents detector removal without a tool. As a result, the system reports a trouble condition if a detector is removed by tampering.
