The Farenhyt IDP-CONTROL is an addressable notification module from Silent Knight. Specifically, it provides supervised drive to load devices powered by an external supply.
First, the IDP-CONTROL connects to the host panel’s SLC loop and is given an address. Then it drives notification appliances such as bells, horns, and strobes. As a result, the panel can activate audible and visual notification on a supervised circuit.

- Class A and Class B supervision options
- Two pairs of output termination points for fault-tolerant wiring
- Mounts directly into a 4" square electrical box (minimum 2-1/8" depth)
Where the IDP-CONTROL Is Used
Specifically, the IDP-CONTROL is compatible with the IFP-2000, IFP-1000, IFP-100, and IFP-50 intelligent fire alarm panels. Therefore, it is the standard NAC driver across the Farenhyt IFP family.
Furthermore, the external power and the SLC loop are kept separate. As a result, large notification loads do not draw down the SLC.
