DSC (LC-B1-15X) Optional bracket for the lc-151 outdoor motion detector

The DSC LC-B1-15X is an optional outdoor mounting bracket for the LC-151 dual-technology outdoor motion detector. It lets installers tilt the LC-151 horizontally or vertically to fine-tune the protected zone.

The LC-151 itself is a security/intrusion outdoor PIR-plus-microwave motion detector. Therefore, the LC-B1-15X bracket is a security accessory — not a fire alarm component.

Installers use the bracket to set the detection range by tilting the detector. As a result, the LC-151 can be aimed to cover the actual perimeter geometry of the site. Furthermore, the bracket handles outdoor exposure alongside the IP55-rated detector it carries.

About the Companion LC-151 Detector

The LC-151 uses dual-technology sensing. Specifically, it combines a single PIR element with X-band microwave at 9.9 GHz, 10.525 GHz, or 10.687 GHz. In addition, it offers pet immunity up to 33 lb without a lens — or 80 lb using the supplied LC-F1-15X pet immunity lens.

Important Application Note

The LC-B1-15X is an intrusion-detector mounting bracket. Therefore, do not use it on fire alarm initiating devices. For fire detector mounting accessories, use parts listed for the fire panel and detector in question.
