The System Sensor MDL3R is a Sync•Circuit module in a red housing. It synchronizes SpectrAlert and SpectrAlert Advance notification appliances. As a result, horns, chimes, and strobes activate in unison.
What the System Sensor MDL3R Does
First, the module synchronizes temporal-coded horns and chimes. Then it also synchronizes strobe flash timing. In addition, it can silence horns and chimes over a two-wire circuit while strobes stay active.
Furthermore, the MDL3R powers and synchronizes two 3-amp circuits wired Class B. Alternatively, it powers one 3-amp circuit wired Class A. As a result, it fits a range of notification layouts.
