The Notifier FST-951-IV is an intelligent addressable heat detector in an ivory housing. It reports to compatible Notifier SLC fire alarm panels.
This detector is a fixed-temperature thermal sensor. Specifically, the factory preset is 135°F (57°C). Therefore, it alarms when ambient heat reaches that threshold.
As an addressable device, the FST-951 communicates over the FlashScan protocol. In addition, rotary decimal switches set each detector’s point address. As a result, the panel identifies the exact device in alarm.
