The Siemens PAD-4-9A is a complete 9-amp distributed power supply and NAC extender kit. First, it adds notification-appliance power capacity to Siemens FireFinder and compatible panels. As a result, longer wire runs and larger device loads become possible. The kit ships ready to install.
What the Siemens PAD-4-9A Kit Includes
The kit contains four matched components. Specifically, it includes the PAD-4-ENCL enclosure, the PAD-4-MB main board, the FP2012-U1 300-watt power supply, and the PAD-4-CLSA Class A adapter card. Therefore, everything needed for a Class A or Class B installation comes in one package.
Power and Supervision
- Provides up to 9 A of 24 VDC power for notification appliances
- Four Class B NAC outputs, expandable to Class A with the included PAD-4-CLSA
- 3 A auxiliary output for door holders, relays, and similar loads
- Constant regulated 24 VDC output, independent of source voltage fluctuations
- Integrated supervision for AC loss, ground faults, and battery, with Form C relays
