The DSC PC585PCB6W is the replacement PowerSeries PC585 control panel PCB. It is the bare board for the DSC PC585 — a 4-zone hardwired, 32-zone wireless expandable intrusion/burglary panel.
First, the board provides 4 on-board hardwired zones. In addition, it supports up to 32 wireless zones with the optional PC5132 receiver. As a result, the PC585 is suited to small residential and light-commercial intrusion installations.
The PC585 platform is a security/intrusion control panel. Therefore, the PC585PCB6W board is not a fire alarm panel PCB.

About the PC585 Platform
The PC585 holds approvals for EU CE EMC/R&TTE/LVD, INCERT (Belgium), and FCC/IC. Furthermore, it is part of the legacy DSC PowerSeries intrusion family alongside the PC1616/1832/1864 panels.
Important Application Note
The PC585PCB6W is a replacement intrusion panel PCB. Therefore, do not use it in a fire alarm enclosure or as a fire control panel. For fire alarm applications, use a UL 864 listed fire panel instead.
