The potter pad100-rm relay module provides one Form C relay contact on a Potter addressable SLC loop. It is compatible with Potter’s IPA and AFC/ARC Series fire alarm panels. In addition, the module uses one SLC loop address. As a result, panels can switch auxiliary equipment such as door holders, dampers, or fan controls.
How the potter pad100-rm relay module Reports Status
A red LED on the front flashes during normal polling by the host panel. When the relay activates, the LED stays steady. Furthermore, the address is set by DIP switch on the module itself. Therefore, no external programmer is needed.
The PAD100-RM mounts in a standard 4-inch square or double-gang electrical box. Specifically, wiring terminals remain accessible after the box is installed.
Wiring Class and SLC Support
The PAD100-RM supports SLC Class A, Class X, and Class B wiring. In addition, all terminals accept 22 to 12 AWG conductors. Up to 127 PAD modules can share one SLC loop.
