The POTTER POTTER-RMS-1T-WP-2 (Potter Amseco RMS-1T-WP) is a single-action, weatherproof manual pull station. Specifically, it is built for outdoor and wash-down conventional fire alarm applications. Furthermore, this POTTER POTTER-RMS-1T-WP-2 station provides one set of normally open contacts. Therefore, it ties directly into a conventional initiating device circuit.
POTTER POTTER-RMS-1T-WP-2 construction and weatherproof rating
The housing is die-cast metal with a 14-gauge plated-steel back plate. As a result, the unit resists impact and weather in exterior installations. In addition, all metal surfaces are completely coated to inhibit corrosion. Therefore, the finish remains uniform across long service cycles. The included weatherproof enclosure protects the contacts from rain and dust.
Operation and electrical specifications
To activate, the user pulls the white operating handle straight down. Then the handle locks into the activated position for clear visual indication. The internal switch is a 10-amp snap-action mechanism with gold-plated SPST contacts. In addition, the unit includes a dedicated terminal block for clean wire connections. Also, the standard reset uses a hex key, while a barrel key reset is available as an option.

The RMS-1T-WP is UL and cUL Listed under UL 38 for Manually Actuated Signaling Boxes. Furthermore, the pull station is FM Approved, CSFM Listed, and MEA Approved. It is also ADA compliant for handle operating force and reach.
