The Protectowire ZB-5-QC is a non-metallic, moisture-proof zone box for linear heat detectors. Specifically, it is the recommended commercial zone box for the CTI Series. Moreover, it serves as an end-of-line box for CTM Series modules. As a result, it terminates CTI detection circuits reliably.

First, the box carries a NEMA 6P (IP67) moisture-proof rating. In addition, it includes a DRTB-T-2 terminal block. The enclosure measures 4 inches high by 4 inches wide by 2 inches deep. Also, it operates from -22°F to +212°F (-30°C to +100°C).
Compatibility and installation
The ZB-5-QC is compatible with Protectowire CTI linear heat detectors. However, it is not recommended for use in direct sunlight. Then pair it with SR-502 strain relief connectors at each entry. Therefore, order those connectors separately as needed. Finally, mount the box in an accessible location for service.
