The RSG RMS-2P-KS is a DPST pigtail-lead-connection manual pull station with the Pre-Signal Key Switch (KS) option. Furthermore, it suits commercial and institutional fire alarm initiating-device circuits.
First, the KS configuration combines a key switch with pre-signal operation. Then, a staff key advances the station from pre-signal to general alarm. As a result, the building supports a two-stage evacuation flow.
In addition, KS is used in high-rises and institutional buildings. However, the panel must be programmed for two-stage operation. Therefore, confirm panel and AHJ acceptance before specifying.

The KS option pairs a key switch with the pre-signal contact set. As a result, staff can confirm and escalate a pull from pre-signal to full evacuation.
