The Siemens OP921 (part number S54320-F4-A2) is an intelligent, addressable photoelectric smoke detector engineered for maximum reliability using state-of-the-art microcontroller circuitry and surface-mount technology. The OP921 incorporates an optical sensor based on the light-scattering detection principle, combined with advanced software algorithms that analyze sensor signals to deliver highly stable and accurate smoke detection while minimizing nuisance alarms.
The OP921 is compatible with Siemens model ‘H’ series devices on the same loop, and works with Cerberus PRO fire alarm control panels (FACPs) and FireFinder XLS FACPs. For FireFinder XLS installations, the OP921 is the designated replacement detector for the discontinued Siemens HFP-11.
