Simplex (4098-9788) 2-Wire Detector Base

The Simplex 4098-9788 is a 2-wire conventional detector base engineered for the Simplex TrueAlarm product line. It connects the 4098-9601 (2.8%/ft nominal sensitivity) and 4098-9605 (3.5%/ft nominal sensitivity) photoelectric detectors to a conventional IDC — 15 to 32 VDC, 100 µA standby current, up to 86 mA alarm current on 2-wire operation. Screw terminals accept 18 to 14 AWG wiring for both the IDC and optional remote LED connections. The 4098-9788 does not include a relay — for relay output, use the 4098-9682 (single Form C, 3A @ 28 VDC) or 4098-9683 (dual Form C). Mounts to a 4-inch octagonal or 4-inch square 1-1/2" deep box, or single gang 2-inch deep box (without relay).
