The Simplex 4098-9757 is a QuickConnect2 analog photoelectric smoke sensor designed for Simplex TrueAlarm addressable fire alarm systems. The QuickConnect2 design features a rotating base-locking mechanism that allows faster sensor installation and replacement compared to older Simplex sensor designs — reducing labor time during initial installation and ongoing maintenance.
Like all TrueAlarm sensors, the 4098-9757 reports continuous analog chamber values to the Simplex FACP rather than simple binary alarm signals. This enables intelligent alarm processing, automatic drift compensation, and pre-alarm notification that reduces false alarms in commercial occupancies.
