The System Sensor 4WTA-B is a four-wire i3 photoelectric smoke detector with a thermal sensor and an integral sounder. First, it detects smoke through its photoelectric chamber. In addition, it adds a fixed 135°F heat sensor and a built-in audible sounder.
The “A” in the model name marks the onboard sounder. Therefore, the detector can produce a local temporal alarm tone at the device. As a result, it supports single-station-style local notification within a conventional i3 system.
