The System Sensor SS-HEAT-ROR is an intelligent, addressable thermal detector. First, it combines 135°F (57°C) fixed-temperature sensing with rate-of-rise detection. Then, rate-of-rise responds when temperature climbs about 15°F per minute. As a result, it catches both slow and fast-developing heat conditions. Importantly, this is a heat detector, not a smoke detector.

The SS-HEAT-ROR provides cost-effective property protection on intelligent loops. In addition, rotary address switches and point ID report the exact device location. Then, dual LEDs deliver 360-degree status and alarm visibility. Also, it supports current SK, LiteSpeed, and SS Protocol systems. Furthermore, low standby current simplifies loop power design. Because it senses heat, it suits areas where smoke detection is impractical.
