The Evax EVX-RM is a supervised remote microphone for the EVAX 25/50 voice evacuation system. It lets staff make live announcements over the building’s speaker network.
First, the EVX-RM mounts in a surface or semi-flush backbox with a hinged, locking door. Then, dead-front construction keeps wiring concealed during normal use. In addition, two discreet LEDs show “In-Use” and “Fault” status at a glance.
Where the Evax EVX-RM Fits
Designers typically place the fire alarm panel in an electrical room. However, the annunciator and microphone need to be in the lobby or a guard station. As a result, the EVX-RM is the practical link between the two locations.
Specifically, it suits gymnasiums, nightclubs, auditoriums, churches, and other places of assembly. Furthermore, it works well at control rooms, reception desks, and guard stations.

- Supports cable runs up to 5,000 ft from the panel
