The Hochiki FRCMA is a fast response contact monitoring module for 4″ electrical boxes. First, it monitors dry-contact devices like pull stations, water flow switches, and supervisory contacts. As a result, the panel sees a change of state almost immediately when the contact trips.
Furthermore, the FRCMA runs on Hochiki’s Digital Communications Protocol (DCP). Therefore, it does not need a separate 24 VDC power source — the SLC powers it.
