Protectowire (RMC-3) Protectowire, stainless l-bracket (rim seal type)

The Protectowire RMC-3 is a stainless steel L-bracket assembly for mounting Protectowire linear heat detector (LHD) cable. It consists of a 304 stainless steel bracket, a WAW-N (nylon) clip, and an acetal copolymer snap button.

First, the L-bracket fastens to a rim or edge surface. Then the WAW-N clip seats into the bracket and accepts the LHD cable. As a result, the detector is held in alignment without crushing the cable’s inner insulation.

In addition, the RMC-3 is the “rim seal type” mount in Protectowire’s hardware family — used where the LHD run terminates along an edge or rim rather than along a flat surface. Furthermore, the 304 stainless construction suits corrosive environments.
