The Honeywell SD500-AIM is a Silent Knight addressable input module. It monitors a single initiating contact. First, it connects a dry-contact device to the addressable loop. As a result, the panel can identify that device by its own address.
What the Honeywell SD500-AIM monitors
This module suits dry-contact initiating devices. For example, it monitors pull stations and waterflow switches. In addition, it is supervised through an end-of-line resistor. Therefore, it reports both alarm closures and open-circuit wiring faults.
