The Gamewell SL-DA4R-P is an analog addressable gamewell duct detector with an onboard relay. Specifically, it uses photoelectric sensing to find smoke in HVAC ducts. In addition, it reports its own address to the panel. As a result, crews locate the alarm point quickly.
Gamewell duct detector sensing and protocols
This detector applies Low-Flow technology for reliable sampling. Therefore, it works in air velocities from 100 to 4000 ft/min. Furthermore, it communicates on Apollo Discovery and XP95 protocols. It also lists to UL 268A for duct smoke detection.
Service and where it fits
The unit adds an integral relay for auxiliary control functions. Also, XPERT card addressing sets the device address without dials. However, the sampling tube removes without tools for service. Finally, confirm protocol and tube length before ordering.
