The System Sensor SS-HEAT-HT is an intelligent, addressable high-temperature heat detector. First, it provides fixed high-temperature detection at 190°F (88°C). Then, this higher setpoint suits hot areas that would nuisance-trip standard detectors. As a result, it protects boiler rooms, attics, and similar high-heat spaces. Importantly, this is a fixed high-temperature heat detector, not a rate-of-rise model.
System Sensor SS-HEAT-HT features
The SS-HEAT-HT delivers intelligent property protection with a UL 521 listing. In addition, rotary address switches and point ID identify each device location. Then, dual LEDs provide 360-degree status and alarm visibility. Also, it supports current SK, LiteSpeed, and SS Protocol systems. Furthermore, low standby current keeps loop power planning simple. Because it senses only high heat, it avoids false alarms in hot environments.
