The System Sensor PR-1 is a multi-voltage SPDT control relay. It accepts 24VDC, 24VAC, or 115VAC on its coil input. As a result, one part covers most common interface voltages.
The PR-1 functions as an interface between a fire alarm contact and an external load. In addition, the multi-voltage coil simplifies retrofits where the trigger voltage may vary.
How the PR-1 Is Used
A low-voltage trigger energizes the coil. Then the SPDT contacts transfer to drive the external load. Specifically, the PR-1 is rated for 10A switching at standard control voltages.
Typical applications include HVAC shutdown, door release, and elevator recall interface. However, verify that the inrush and steady-state load current stay within the 10A contact rating.
