Edwards (6ANN/B) Semi-flush annunciator wall box

The Edwards 6ANN/B is a six-position semi-flush annunciator wallbox for the EST3 fire-alarm and mass-notification platform. Specifically, it houses up to six display or control modules behind a single recessed door. As a result, you get a clean, low-profile remote operator station for lobbies, security desks, and command rooms.

First, the 6ANN/B mounts into the wall so only the door projects into the room. Then the inner cavity holds the 3-ANNCPU3 annunciator processor and up to six 3-ANNSM annunciator support modules. Therefore, you can mix LED display, switch/LED control, and LCD modules in one enclosure.

Built for Six-Position EST3 Annunciator Layouts

Furthermore, the 6ANN/B is designed around the EST3 6-position annunciator architecture. In addition, it pairs with the 3-6ANN base annunciator kit (CPU plus two 3-ANNSM modules and doors). As a result, the wallbox accepts a full EST3 display layout — LEDs, switches, and an optional 3-LCD or 3-LCDXL1 graphical display.

Also, the 6ANN/B carries slide-in label strips behind the door. Therefore, LEDs and switches can be designated for the local language or for site-specific point descriptions.

Construction

Specifically, the 6ANN/B is fabricated from 16-gauge cold-rolled steel. Then it is finished in gray textured enamel that complements most architectural interiors. As a result, the cabinet is rugged enough for corridor, lobby, and back-of-house mounting.
