The System Sensor BEAMLRK is a long range kit for reflected beam smoke detectors. It extends the usable range of System Sensor BEAM1224 and BEAM1224S detectors. As a result, a single detector can protect very large open spaces.
Normally, a reflected beam detector covers up to 230 feet. However, the BEAMLRK pushes that separation to between 230 and 328 feet. Therefore, the kit suits warehouses, atriums, and other long sight lines.
What the System Sensor BEAMLRK Includes
At extended range, the beam needs more reflective surface. Specifically, four 8-inch by 8-inch reflectors must be used. The kit supplies 3 additional reflectors to complete the set. In addition, it includes new test-scale legends for accurate sensitivity testing.
Note one important limit. The BEAMLRK is not compatible with the multi-mount kit (BEAMMMK). Therefore, plan to use one accessory or the other, not both.
