The Edwards SIGA-MCC2 Dual Input Signal Module is a Signature Series intelligent output module. Specifically, it switches one of two power risers to a single supervised Class B output circuit. As a result, technicians can drive notification appliances, audio speaker circuits, or telephone circuits from the SLC.
This is the UIO plug-in version of the SIGA-CC2 standalone module. Therefore, the MCC2 requires a UIO motherboard. It is not box-mounted on its own.
What “dual input signal” means
The two “inputs” are power risers feeding the module. First, the loop controller selects which riser to route to the output. Then the module supervises the output for opens and shorts.
Supported riser types include 24 VDC polarized signal power, 25 V audio evac, 70 V audio evac, and telephone audio. Therefore, the MCC2 covers most Signature notification output scenarios.

Mounting
The MCC2 plugs into a SIGA-UIO2R, UIO6R, or UIO6 motherboard. Importantly, technicians installing in a standalone backbox should specify the SIGA-CC2 instead.
Panel compatibility and listings
The MCC2 works with Edwards Signature Loop Controllers. Furthermore, the module carries UL, ULC, CSFM, MEA, and FM listings per the datasheet.
