FARENHYT (IDP-HEAT-W) Addressable Thermal Detector Fixed Temp

The Farenhyt IDP-HEAT-W is an addressable thermal detector with a fixed-temperature element. The housing color is white.

First, the heat element monitors ambient temperature in the protected space. Then, when the element reaches its fixed activation point, the device reports alarm to the IntelliKnight/IDP panel. As a result, the panel pinpoints the exact device and location at alarm.

The IDP-HEAT-W is part of the IDP addressable platform. Therefore, it communicates with Farenhyt panels using the Intelligent Detection Protocol (IDP).

Notes Before Ordering

Heat detectors respond more slowly than smoke detectors. Therefore, use them only where smoke detection is unsuitable. Also confirm the matching addressable detector base.
