The Notifier FWH-200ROR135 is a FlashScan intelligent wireless rate-of-rise heat detector. It runs on the NOTIFIER SWIFT wireless mesh network. Specifically, it combines a 135°F fixed temperature element with a 15°F per minute rate-of-rise sensor. As a result, it triggers on both rapid heat rise and absolute heat threshold.
This detector is built for spaces where smoke detection causes nuisance alarms. Typical examples include mechanical rooms, kitchens, warehouses, and parking garages. In addition, the wireless format suits concrete, asbestos-containing, or historic structures. Therefore, installers can skip costly conduit and surface raceway.
How the Notifier FWH-200ROR135 connects
First, install one B210W wireless base (ordered separately). Then add four CR-123A lithium batteries (included). Finally, address the detector using the rotary code wheels.
The FWH-200ROR135 communicates with the FWSG SWIFT Wireless Gateway over a Class A mesh network. Furthermore, every device has two parent paths, so a single device loss does not break the mesh. Also, frequency hopping across 902–928 MHz prevents RF interference.
