The Honeywell SPXCDXSFXSS is a flammable catalytic bead gas sensor. It works with the Honeywell Sensepoint XCD gas detector. Specifically, it detects combustible gases across a 0-100% LEL range.
This catalytic sensor responds to many flammable gases. For example, it detects methane, propane, hydrogen, and ethylene. As a result, it fits a wide range of industrial applications.
Honeywell SPXCDXSFXSS Detection Range
The sensor uses a default range of 0-100% LEL. However, you can select a full-scale range from 20% to 100% LEL. In addition, default alarm points are set at 20% and 40% LEL.
Furthermore, the sensor installs into a compatible Sensepoint XCD transmitter. Therefore, it serves as a direct replacement for a worn catalytic element. As a result, you restore reliable combustible-gas detection quickly.
