The Hochiki HPS-DBB pull station back box is the deep (2-1/4″) mounting box for HPS and AMS series manual pull stations. First, its extra depth gives more room for wiring and EOL hardware behind the station. As a result, it is the go-to back box when standard 1-3/4″ depth (HPS-BB) is not enough.
Furthermore, the HPS-DBB suits surface-mount installations where a flush electrical box is not available. Therefore, use it on exposed concrete, block, or metal walls where the station must sit proud of the surface.
