KIDDE COMMERCIAL (EG4ARF) Horn,Red,Fire

The KIDDE COMMERCIAL EG4ARF is a wall-mount Genesis LED EG4 Series fire alarm horn. Specifically, it ships with a red housing and the “FIRE” marking.

First, the EG4ARF mounts to the included GP10 (or GRSW-10) room-side wiring plate. Then, the appliance snaps into the plate, which simplifies pre-install and pre-wiring. Furthermore, a diagnostics check bar is supplied for electrical continuity testing before the cover goes on.

In addition, the EG4 horn supports either constant or three-pulse temporal (T3) coding. Therefore, the same SKU works for either steady or NFPA 72 temporal patterns by sliding the on-cover tone selector switch.

Mounting and Trim

First, the EG4 family fits 1-gang, 2-gang, 3.5-inch octagon, and 4-inch square boxes at least 1.5 in deep. In addition, optional EG4TR (red) and EG4TW (white) trim plates cover oversized openings. Furthermore, EG4RSB (red) and EG4WSB (white) wall surface-mount boxes are available for surface installations.
