The KIDDE COMMERCIAL FSRRM24 is a remote relay module for F-series and FX-series conventional fire alarm control panels. Specifically, it provides five Form C relays in a single module.
First, each of the five relays is jumper-configured as common, zone, or programmable. Then, each output is independently set as a dry contact or as a +24 VDC source. As a result, one SKU covers many integration scenarios with HVAC, elevators, doors, and ancillary systems.
In addition, an LED on each relay shows when it is energized. Furthermore, a separate LED indicates when the module is disabled via the disable-output jumper.

Module Quantity Rules
First, only two FSRRM24 modules are allowed per MFC-A cabinet. In addition, only three FSRRM24 modules are allowed per peripheral group on 3-zone and 5-zone panels. However, up to four FSRRM24 modules are allowed per peripheral group on 10-zone panels. Furthermore, only one common-relay FSRRM24 is allowed per peripheral group.
Power Notes
First, AUX power from the control panel must not exceed 0.5 A. As a result, larger loads require a UL/ULC-listed regulated 24 VDC auxiliary or booster supply for fire protective signaling. In addition, an external supply must sit in the same room as the panel with their 24 VDC commons tied together.
