The Notifier CPU-320SYS is the central processing unit for the NFS-320SYS intelligent addressable fire alarm panel. Specifically, it ships as a CPU plus chassis plus 80-character display keypad with an integral 120 VAC power supply. As a result, the SYS variant comes complete and mounts directly into a CAB-4 series cabinet.
First, the on-board switch-mode power supply is rated at 6.0 A. In addition, four built-in Notification Appliance Circuits support Class A or Class B wiring. Furthermore, strobe synchronization is field-selectable for System Sensor, Wheelock, or Gentex appliances.
Notifier CPU-320SYS device capacity
The panel includes one isolated intelligent Signaling Line Circuit. Specifically, it supports SLC Style 4, 6, or 7. Furthermore, the SLC handles up to 159 detectors and 159 modules. As a result, the maximum device count is 318 per panel.
Event history holds 800 events in nonvolatile memory. In addition, a separate 200-event alarm-only file is maintained. Therefore, technicians can isolate alarm activity from supervisory and trouble noise during incident review.
Network compatibility
First, the panel supports the Notifier high-speed network at up to 200 nodes. Alternatively, the standard network supports up to 103 nodes. In addition, peer panels include the NFS2-3030, NFS2-640, NFS-320(C), NCA-2, DVC-EM, ONYXWorks, NFS-3030, NFS-640, and original NCA.
