The Notifier XP10-M is a ten-input addressable monitor module for intelligent Notifier fire alarm panels. First, it interfaces between the panel and normally-open contact devices. For example, it monitors pull stations, security contacts, and waterflow switches.
How the Notifier XP10-M monitor module works
Each XP10-M supports ten Class B initiating circuits, or five Class A circuits. In addition, the first address is set from 01 to 150. Then the next nine addresses auto-assign sequentially.
Installers may also disable up to two unused addresses on the module. Furthermore, the panel can drive a green LED indicator to blink, latch on, or latch off.
XP10-M specifications
- Inputs: 10 Class B, or 5 Class A initiating device circuits
- Address range: 01 to 150 (first address); next 9 auto-assigned
- Unused address disable: up to 2 per module
- Wire gauge: 12 AWG (3.31 mm²) to 18 AWG (0.821 mm²)
- Max SLC wiring resistance: 40 or 50 ohms (panel-dependent)
- Max IDC wiring resistance: 1,500 ohms
- Max IDC voltage: 10.2 VDC
- Max IDC current: 240 µA
- Listing: UL Standard 864, 9th edition
As a result, the XP10-M consolidates ten conventional contact inputs into one addressable point group. Therefore, it reduces wiring and address count on large legacy retrofits.
