The Hochiki S758 is the FireNET L@titude Dual SLC Panel Module. It monitors and drives two SLC loops on a FireNET L@titude analog addressable fire alarm panel.
First, the S758 plugs into the L@titude chassis as a loop driver. Then it polls devices, holds the loop’s device configuration, and forwards status to the panel processor. As a result, the panel can manage two full SLCs per S758 installed.

Standalone Operation and Resilience
In addition, the S758 holds its own copy of loop device configuration. Specifically, this lets the module continue polling and reporting during a catastrophic main-processor failure. However, full panel features still require an operational L@titude main controller.
Also, a single L@titude panel can host multiple S758 modules. Therefore, system designers scale loop count by adding modules rather than swapping chassis.
