The System Sensor SBBWL is a white wall surface-mount back box for L-Series notification appliances. It fits 4×4 horns, strobes, and horn strobes. As a result, installers can mount these devices on hard surfaces.
Surface mounting helps where recessed boxes will not fit. For example, it suits concrete, brick, and block walls. The white finish also blends with most interior wall colors.
System Sensor SBBWL Features
The back box includes a grounding plate and grounding screw. In addition, it provides threaded knockouts for 3/4-inch conduit adapters. Therefore, it supports proper grounding and clean conduit runs.
The appliance attaches to the box after the wiring is connected. Consequently, the installation stays neat and code-friendly. This box works well for both new construction and retrofits.
