The Secutron RAM-1032TZDS is the main remote LED annunciator chassis for Secutron addressable fire alarm panels. Specifically, it provides 32 points of LED annunciation in a single chassis. In addition, it carries the system’s common indicators and control switches. As a result, building staff can monitor and reset the panel from a remote lobby or guard station.
Each of the 32 annunciation points uses a bi-colored LED plus a dedicated zone-trouble LED. Furthermore, the labeling slot beside each LED accepts a slide-in field-printed label. Therefore, installers can identify zones at the device without re-stenciling the door.
Indicators and controls on the Secutron RAM-1032TZDS
The chassis includes common indicators for A.C. On, Common Trouble, and Signal Silence. In addition, configurable indicators cover Auxiliary Disconnect and a two-stage Acknowledge / General Alarm Activate when the parent panel is configured for two-stage operation.
For control, the panel side exposes Reset, Lamp Test, Fire Drill, Auxiliary Disconnect, Local Buzzer Silence, and Signal Silence switches. Furthermore, each control switch can be disabled on a per-function basis. As a result, a remote annunciator located outside the protected area can monitor without permitting unauthorized resets.
Expansion and mounting
The RAM-1032TZDS can be expanded with RAX1048TZDS programmable LED annunciator modules. As a result, larger systems can scale up zone annunciation beyond 32 points. In addition, the chassis mounts in an MMX-BB-1000 series enclosure, or in BB-5008 or BB-5014 back boxes.
