The STI EM362408WA is a large metal protective cabinet with a clear window and built-in AC and heater. First, it houses a fire alarm control panel in extreme-temperature locations. Then, the AC/heater holds the interior within the panel’s operating range. Furthermore, the window lets staff identify the unit without opening the door.

First, the cabinet is fabricated from heavy-duty 14-gauge metal. In addition, the finish is a baked-enamel coat for corrosion resistance. Specifically, the unit measures 36 in. H x 24 in. W x 8 in. D. As a result, larger fire alarm panels fit inside with airflow clearance.
AC and heater system
First, the AC unit delivers 800 BTU. Then, the heater is rated 150 W. Furthermore, the AC/heater cycles while a fan runs continuously to maintain a uniform interior temperature. As a result, panel uptime is protected through hot and cold seasons.
Mounting, security, and listings
First, a mounting plate and a 6-inch ground strap ship with the cabinet. In addition, two 1/4-turn latches deter unauthorized entry. The cabinet carries a NEMA Type 4 rating and is UL Listed. Also, the AC/heater unit is UL/cUL Listed. Therefore, this enclosure is suited to outdoor or harsh-environment installs where window viewing and Type 4 protection are both required.
